The second generation of the Chevrolet Impala from the mid-1960s gave rise to this stunning Chevrolet Fire Chief (Corgi 482), resplendent in its red-and-white livery.
Both the fire truck and police car versions include a driver and a passenger, while the taxi has only a driver.
With a flashing light bleu as opposed to the police car’s red light, the Fire Chief model features “Fire Dept” door decals, with “Fire Chief” in bold white lettering on the hood.
The most notable feature of Corgi’s second Impala is its two-piece die-cast body.
The Chevrolet Fire Chief’s car was part of the Corgi lineup from 1965 to 1969.
